Φ Δ Θ - Tucson Alumni Club

Message From The President:

There are over 1100 members of Phi Delta Theta from Arizona Alpha who signed the bond, graduated, with many moving outside of Tucson. There are another 350 Phi Delts who moved to Tucson from all parts of the country.

While we come from individual backgrounds with different beliefs we all have a common bond. The Tucson Alumni Club understands the importance of providing a forum to remain in contact with all brothers separated by distance.

The common thread that bonded all of us together was becoming a member of an international organization that attracted individuals who strive for high standards and principles. Those principals that guided us to Phi Delta Theta have now followed us into our adult life. Many of the friendships that were forged, as a member, have grown into adult friendships with many still participating in one another’s lives.

The Tucson Alumni Club of Phi Delta Theta has a long history and has been a focal point of countless memories and a special place in our lives. The Tucson Alumni Club provides a forum to socialize with friends, to keep alumni informed, and to support efforts in our community. With the generous contributions by our fellow brother the Tucson Alumni Club is able to conduct annual events, which include tailgating at the University of Arizona Wildcat football games, luncheons, BBQ’s, Founders Day Dinner, baseball games, and fund raising for the ALS organization.

A key and valuable service also provided by the Tucson Alumni Club is to underwrite rush activities for the active chapter. This has been a fundamental service that is provided to the undergraduates to guarantee that the traditions of Phi Delta Theta continue for future generations. The Tucson Alumni Club has provided financial and leadership resources to help develop the next generation of young leaders. It is important to the success of Phi Delta Theta that we do not lose sight of this commitment.

The continuation of the Tucson Alumni Club depends on your financial support to guarantee that there will be a next generation of brothers who can say that they are “Proud to be a Phi”. Those of you who wish to continue the traditions of Phi Delta Theta are encouraged to make a contribution by going to the Dues Information icon.

Yours in the bond,

Jay McKenzie
